1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your booking and participation in Visiting Wrld retreats, fitness events, and related services (“Services”). By booking a retreat, event, or any other service with Visiting Wrld, you (“the Booker” or “Guest”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your booking party also comply with these Terms.

Visiting Wrld reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be available on our website, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

 

2. CONTRACT FORMATION & BOOKING

2.1 Booking Confirmation & Agreement

• A booking is confirmed when a deposit or full payment is received.
• Upon making the initial deposit payment:
  1. A binding contract is formed between you and Visiting Wrld.
  2. You accept all terms outlined in this document, including payment obligations and cancellation policies.

Visiting Wrld reserves the right to reject or cancel any booking if Terms are violated.

2.2 Payments & Installment Plans

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Full payment is required by the stated deadline; failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund.
• Payment plans may be available upon request, but all payments must be completed before the retreat begins.
• Prices are subject to change before booking confirmation but will remain fixed after full payment is received.

2.3 Cancellations & Refunds

By Guest:

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• If unable to attend, a Guest may request to transfer their booking to another eligible individual. Approval is at Visiting Wrld’s discretion.

By Visiting Wrld:

• Visiting Wrld reserves the right to cancel a retreat due to force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.). In such cases, Guests may receive a credit toward a future retreat.
• Visiting Wrld is not responsible for reimbursement of flights, visas, or other travel expenses.

 

3. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport and any required visas for the destination country.
• Visiting Wrld does not assist in obtaining travel visas or authorizations.
• Failure to obtain the necessary documents does not qualify for a refund.
• Any denied entry due to documentation issues is the Guest’s responsibility, and Visiting Wrld will not provide refunds or compensation.

 

4. AIRPORT TRANSFERS & TRANSPORTATION

4.1 General Transfer Policies

• Airport transfers are not included unless explicitly stated.
• If transfers are provided, Guests must submit their flight details before the designated deadline.
• Visiting Wrld is not responsible for any costs incurred due to delayed, canceled, or rescheduled flights.
• Shared transfers may require wait times of up to two hours.
• Guests must arrive at the designated transfer pickup location on time; failure to do so may result in forfeiting the transfer.

4.2 Luggage Responsibility

• Guests are responsible for loading and retrieving their luggage.
• Visiting Wrld is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged baggage during transportation.

 

5. ACCOMMODATION POLICIES

5.1 Accommodation Security Deposit

• Some accommodations may require a refundable security deposit upon check-in.
• Security deposits may be withheld for damages, excessive cleaning, or rule violations.

5.2 General Accommodation Rules

• Only registered Guests may stay in Visiting Wrld accommodations.
• Noise levels must be kept respectful, and local laws and accommodation rules must be followed.
• Check-in and check-out times must be adhered to. Luggage storage is not guaranteed before check-in or after check-out.

5.3 Damages & Additional Charges

• Guests are responsible for any damages or excessive cleaning fees.
• If damage occurs, Guests may be charged before departure.

 

6. ITINERARY & ACTIVITY CHANGES

• Visiting Wrld reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or guest feedback.
• If an activity is canceled, a suitable alternative may be offered.
• Guests are not entitled to refunds for itinerary changes.

 

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LIABILITY

• Visiting Wrld may recommend or include third-party activities but is not responsible for their safety, operations, or service quality.
• Participation in excursions outside of Visiting Wrld’s official offerings is at the Guest’s own risk.

 

8. HEALTH, FITNESS, & SAFETY

• Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
• Guests must be physically able to participate in the retreat’s activities. Refunds will not be given for inability to participate due to physical limitations.
• Travel insurance is required and must cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
• Visiting Wrld is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during the retreat.

 

9. CODE OF CONDUCT

• Guests must respect fellow participants, staff, and local communities.
• Excessive alcohol consumption, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities will result in removal from the retreat without refund.
• Drugs are strictly prohibited. Any Guest found in possession of illegal substances will be removed and may be reported to local authorities.
• Guests causing property damage or disruptions will be financially liable and may be banned from future events.

 

10. IMAGE USE & MEDIA RIGHTS

• Guests consent to being photographed or filmed during the retreat for promotional purposes.
• If a Guest does not wish to appear in promotional materials, they must notify Visiting Wrld in writing before the retreat.
• Visiting Wrld reserves the right to use retreat footage and images for marketing without compensation to Guests.

 

11. LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEURE

• Visiting Wrld is not liable for flight cancellations, lost baggage, illnesses, weather disruptions, or personal emergencies.
• Participation in activities is at the Guest’s own risk, and safety guidelines should be followed.
• Visiting Wrld’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the Guest for the retreat.
• If force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics) occur, Visiting Wrld reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel retreats. Refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion.

 

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Michigan/United States
• Mediation or arbitration may be used before legal action.
