1. Notice at Collection
This Notice at Collection is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), and supplements our Privacy Policy.
At or before the point of collection, we inform you of the following:

We use Sensitive Personal Information only for the following purposes permitted under CCPA/CPRA Section 1798.121:
- Performing the services you requested (retreat booking and delivery)
- Ensuring security and integrity
- Short-term transient use
- Performing services on behalf of Visiting Wrld (customer service, quality assurance)
- Verifying or maintaining quality and safety
We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those permitted under Section 1798.121.
4. Purposes for Collection
We collect each category of Personal Information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including:
- Providing and improving our Services
- Processing transactions and payments
- Communicating with you about retreats, bookings, and offers
- Marketing and advertising (with consent where required)
- Analytics and service improvement
- Legal compliance and fraud prevention
- Maintaining security of our Services
5. Retention
We retain each category of Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and as specified in the retention schedule therein.
6. Sale and Sharing
We do not sell your Personal Information. "Sell" has the meaning defined in CCPA/CPRA Section 1798.140(ad).
We do not share your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. "Share" has the meaning defined in CCPA/CPRA Section 1798.140(ah).
If we use hashed identifiers for advertising measurement (e.g., Meta Conversions API), this data is used solely for measuring the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns and is not used by third parties for their own advertising purposes.
7. Your California Privacy Rights
7.1 Right to Know (Section 1798.100)
You have the right to request that we disclose:
- The categories of Personal Information we collected about you
- The categories of sources from which it was collected
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling it
- The categories of third parties with whom we share it
- The specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you
7.2 Right to Delete (Section 1798.105)
You have the right to request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, legal compliance, security, exercising free speech, internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations).
7.3 Right to Correct (Section 1798.106)
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
7.4 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing (Section 1798.120)
We do not sell or share Personal Information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.
7.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (Section 1798.121)
You have the right to direct us to limit the use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information to uses necessary to perform our Services. To exercise this right, email privacy@visitingwrld.com.
7.6 Right to Non-Discrimination (Section 1798.125)
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, provide a different quality of service, or suggest that you will receive different treatment for exercising your rights.
8. How to Exercise Your Rights
8.1 Submitting a Request
You may submit a privacy rights request by:

8.2 Verification
We will verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may require you to provide:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your full name and phone number
- Additional information sufficient to verify your identity
We will match the information you provide against our records. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny your request.
8.3 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide:
- Written authorization signed by you, or
- A power of attorney under California Probate Code Sections 4000-4465
We may still require you to verify your identity directly.
8.4 Response Timing
We will respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) calendar days of receipt. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension (up to an additional 45 days) and the reason.
9. Financial Incentives
We do not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or deletion of Personal Information.
10. Minors
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from consumers under the age of 16. We do not sell the Personal Information of consumers under the age of 16.
11. Metrics (Annual Disclosure)
Pursuant to CCPA/CPRA regulations, we will publish annual metrics regarding consumer rights requests in our Privacy Policy by July 1 of each year, covering the previous calendar year, including:
- Number of requests to know received, complied with, and denied
- Number of requests to delete received, complied with, and denied
- Number of requests to opt out received, complied with, and denied
- Median response time
